So long, Inspector Gadget.

Today is a sad, sad day for those of us who grew up in the 80’s and early 90’s. Don Adams has died at 82. Since I’m only 24, my exposure to the man was as the voice of the bumbling Inspector Gadget. Man, when I was a kid, I was hooked on that show. I remember being 5 or 6 and throwing a fit when I was grounded and couldn’t watch. My love for it even lasted to my teen years when I got my first pair of Rollerblades. When I would put them on, all I could think of was “Go, go gadget rocket skates!”. Mind you, none of that love was because of the character himself, but the voice behind the man. It was so distinctive, so unique, it really brought the character home.
He’ll be missed.
