As you say, it is important to point out that some regulation is necessary in the sale of drugs. In the UK you have to have a license to sell alcohol and tobacco, something similar for currently illegal drugs would be a good idea. Imagine the amount of money the government would make if they could put taxes on them ;) On the whole, I agree that ending this pointless 'war on drugs' is a good idea.
