Firefox Extension: All-In-One Sidebar

Gather around the fire, kiddies, it’s time for Uncle Juvie to tell you a tale. Long, long ago, in the distant year of 2003, there was a magical browser fairy known as Opera. Oh, what a wonderful creation this Opera was. Faster than fast, stronger than strong, it was the king of all other browsers. However, it’s rule was not to be. One day, Prince Firefox came along and removed King Opera from it’s throne. While the subjects rejoiced for the most part, there were many Opera loyalists that yearned for features from the past.

Once such feature was Opera’s sidebar controls. A thin area on the left of the page that when clicked, would bring about the sidebar. This made access to bookmarks, history, downloads, etc far easier to access. While there have been many attempts to reproduce this in Firefox, not really got it perfect and fewer would work with 1.5 (even when forced with Nightly Tester Tools). That is until, All-In-One Sidebar. This not only brings it back closer to Opera than any other extension, it also adds a few extras Opera lacked.

..and the Opera fans lived happily ever after. The End.
