For the next few days, I will be taking care of a few bugs that have been annoying the piss out of me since I changed layouts a month and a half or so back. In the rush to get the layout finished, I overlooked my normal anal retentive perfectionist design habits and let a lot of “pixel-level” things get by. There are also a few pages (such as the article view) that feel simply thrown together and yet others, such as the Bio, that are AWOL. With any luck, I’ll have these cleaned up in the next few days.

Also, by request of a reader, I’ll be playing around with the fonts on different elements to see if I can’t improve their readability some. I’ve been told things don’t look all that hot in Safari and I’ve seen how they look in Konqueror (basically the same browser), so I know there is some room for improvement. Now, normally I don’t over stress how things look in those browsers as they tend to make up a fraction of a percent of the majority of my stats. Here, however, the number feels a little disproportionate so I’m willing to make the extra effort.

So don’t be shocked if over the next few days, you find that many parts of the site have changed or simply don’t work.
