When Idiots Attack
Every now and then, I find myself at a complete loss for words. The Clinton impeachment, the events of 9/11, George W. Bush being reelected in spite of poor leadership and now, an email from someone who took issue with my Christmas post.

GOD will judge you for the evil words you said about HIS only son our lord JESUS CHRIST! You even dare to say what you did about HIS birthday! You may not know there is a hell but I DO and there IS A HELL and you will be going there for ever and ever after what you said! JESUS loves everyone but maybe not you after your post. Fags make JESUS cry and if they could get married GOD would judge the world guilty of MORTAL SINS and withhold everlasting life from all of mankind. Also, GOD gave us Christmas so we could remember he gave us his only SON JESUS CHRIST and be good to everyone. Saying happy hollidays goes against the will of GOD and does not show respect to JESUS CHRIST!! So YES JESUS WOULD PROTEST WALMART!!! JESUS wants us to remember that he gave his life for all the world to live for ever in the light of GOD! READ THE BIBLE OR YOU WILL GO TO HELL AND BURN FOR EVER AND EVER! You need to go to church and pray for GODS FORGIVENESS RIGHT NOW! Nothing you say can save your from GODS RAPTH! We also give presients on Christmas to remember that the three wise men who came thousands of miles to give Jesus presients. THAT IS THE TURTH! ITS IN THE BIBLE! Why do you need to pretned that HE does not exist! He will love you for ever if you just let him into your heart! Stop saying lies about JESUS and GOD and REPENTf or the things you have said! I will wait for you to reply but I don’t know if you aer brave enough to face someone who belives in THE POWER OF GOD AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST!!!! Tom
Clearly, I’ve been blown away by the cognitive power of an 8 year old. His knowledge and understand of GOD and JESUS is just light years beyond anything I could ever comprehend. I should be ashamed for thinking that Jesus cares about the poor and hungry more than how a multinational, multibillion dollar corporation chooses to great customers who may or may not celebrate a made up holiday to combat a popular Pagan holiday. How I ever could have skipped the Bible’s “Book of Asshole”, I’ll never understand. So allow me to apologize for thinking the Jesus of myth was a kind, caring person. Form your enlightened email, Tom, I see error of my ways.

I love it! Tom, is just the sort of hypocrite that Christ came to expose. I have to say that the quote was sooo over-the-top that I wondered if it was written in irony. Regardless, the war on Christmas this year has provided me, my family and friends with plenty of laughs. It has been the highlight of my holiday…I mean Christmas!

Anyhow, I’m not even a Christian and I know Jesus’s message wasn’t one of fear and hatred. This is really one of those nut jobs every world religion has that completely misses the concept.
