You aren't the only ones. I have the same problem with mine. Logitech customer "support" made me jump through hoops for 3 months uninstalling, reinstalling, and on and on.

Based on the response I have had from the Logitech people I get the feeling that the company knows what a lemon they threw at their customers and rather than do the proper thing and offer a full scale recall they are content to stick it to us. I for one will avoid all Logitech products from now on.

I am having similar problems with my Logitech MX5000 keyboard. The double character issue is a big problem for me in email - I keep deleting multiple messages when I only intend to delete one. I have to concentrate hard, everytime I press the key, to make sure that it doesn't flake out and delete a critical message.

@Jeffery
I would, but I like being able to control Winamp from my keyboard. That's really the only reason I go for those "fancy" things..heh.

@Killer Possum
Well, it wasn't exactly a Setpoint problem, it was the Logitech Bluetooth drivers that didn't want to install. When I went "down" to the MX3000, Setpoint worked just as it should without any modification. So it sounds like Logitech's QC/UT didn't do it's job and they just rushed the product to market.

Wow! Like you, Logitech products have treated me very well in the past so that's quite a sad thing to hear. I still use my trusty LX 700 desktop on my Media Center 2005 machine, and the Setpoint software works fine so it's also a surprise to see you had trouble installing that too. The idea behind that keyboard sounds really cool though, maybe the next redesign will work better and have a back-lit display :)

That sounds really bad :P I usually stick with normal keyboards, without fancy features. As long as you can type it's ok for me.
